Protection of personal information
In this privacy statement, we would like to explain what data we use, what we need data for and how long it is kept. Do you have any questions? Please feel free to contact us.
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, as a data subject you have certain rights in relation to personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and copies of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. In case you wish to receive the data at another e-mail address or by post, for example, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of processed requests; in the case of forgetting requests, we administer anonymised data. You will receive all copies and transcripts of data in the machine-readable data format used within our systems. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Authority at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
Right of inspection
You always have the right to inspect the data we process (or have processed) that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors holding this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data, at the e-mail address known to us.
Right of rectification
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relate to your person or can be traced back to you amended. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data have been adjusted at the e-mail address known to us.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to limit the data we process or have processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make such a request to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right of transferability
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf at the e-mail address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing services in such a case, as the secure interconnection of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights
You have the right, where applicable, to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of WebwinkelKeur. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your personal data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of data we process (or have processed) available to you and thereafter cease processing permanently. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or input. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe it does, please contact our contact person for privacy matters.
In order to process your order successfully, it is necessary for Your.Software to process (personal) data. Some personal data are mandatory, other data can be entered optionally. The advantage of optionally entering personal data is that we can better advise/help you install and use your product. We only process data that is strictly necessary.
Data security
All data you enter at Your.Software is stored securely. Our databases are secured with state-of-the-art security; better security does not exist. Our website and payment systems are secured with HTTPS (SSL) connections. You will recognise this secure connection by the lock icon in your browser.
Our systems are built to the very highest standard that exists in technical system security. We do not use cheap foreign developers; our company does as much as possible in-house with attention to the privacy of our customers and employees. We securely exchange information with some external parties, e.g. to receive and process your payment securely. See the section: collaborations.
Data processing
Your data will not be sold or passed on to third parties. Data is - and remains - within Your.Software:
- First name/surname
- Email address
- IP address
- Payment details (such as bank account)
Optionally, some additional data are processed:
- Phone number
- Address
- Company name
- Additional company details (such as VAT number, Chamber of Commerce number etc.)
Additional data is stored to process your order and/or to check whether products are used and sold in accordance with licence conditions. For example, we sell student licences only to students/teachers and business licences to companies. Therefore, additional data may be necessary in addition to the above-mentioned necessary data to process the order.
In some cases, Your.Software may decide - for example, at the request of payment providers or for marketing activities - to process additional data such as gender, date of birth, fax, target groups, preferences and interests. For any processing, consent will be requested from the subject for approval of the processing.
Effective processing

Deliveries | Delivering orders. |
Creation of account (secure environment) | Setting up an account with a secure, personalised environment used to deliver products and present manuals. In the account you will find all kinds of information available only to you; not to those who have not bought a product from us. |
Customer service | To help install and use the product. |
Marketing | Marketing activities such as newsletters and emails about the product and related offers. |
Advice & renewal of subscriptions (not applicable for one-off purchases. |
We advise on using your product (getting the most out of the purchase) and on other product-related issues. This includes a renewal offer if a fixed-term subscription has been purchased. N.b. Every e-mail sent to renew a subscription contains a link to stop further follow-up e-mails. |
Improvements | We analyse how our platforms are used. Through this analysis - we analyse the use of our platforms based on large numbers of customers - we can quickly apply improvements and make the platforms a little better every day. |
Fraud prevention | Fraud is annoying enough. We sometimes simply need data and will need to link data to detect fraud and prevent new fraud. |
Actions | We inform customers about renewals and other promotions on our website. |
Reviews | We give every customer the opportunity to post reviews. By doing so, together we make the platform a little better every day. |
Data will not be kept longer than necessary. As long as the data serve one of the above purpose(s), data will be kept. After that, data will be deleted.
To effect a transaction, we share data - if necessary - with our payment providers pay.co.uk, Afterpay and PayPal. Of course, only if you choose to use one of these payment methods.

About cookies and why they are necessary
We need cookies to make sure our website works properly and to make sure we can make our website a little better every day. We do not share our cookies with third parties. However, we do use them for marketing; we store which product(s) was/were in the basket and we use Google Analytics to see which pages on our website need improvement. See also the collaborations section.
Collaborations
We cannot do it alone. Hence, we cooperate with a number of key partners. Of course, we make clear agreements about these collaborations and data may not be used without permission. Partners we work with are:
- Google Analytics / Google Adwords. We use this to measure whether our website is working well and whether (and if so, where!) it needs improvement. Google Adwods may display our products on external pages after viewing them on our site.
- Daisycon. We use this to reward partners who bring traffic to our website.
- Facebook, DoubleClick and Bing. Not for spam, but purely to display products. These networks may display our products after they have been viewed on our site. For this purpose, a cookie reports which products have been viewed.
- Pay.nl, Afterpay & Paypal. We need these parties to process your payment.
- MailChimp. They help us make offers to renew subscriptions.
